THIBODAUX, La. – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi softball team will get its second of three conference series within a week underway, this one a midweek on the road at Nicholls as the two programs face off in a doubleheader Tuesday and play game three Wednesday.
The Islanders are coming off a three-game series with McNeese this past weekend at home, which kicked off a stretch of nine games in nine days. Each school will play one midweek series this season to accommodate the 10-team league slate.
Tuesday's doubleheader will begin at 4 p.m. while Wednesday's finale will get going at 11 a.m. to complete the road series before the Islanders head back home for their final conference home series against Northwestern State.
The series will be against Nicholls, who sits tied for second in the conference standings. The Islanders sit in eighth with three conference series remaining on the schedule.
